The Little Taboga House and Its Forgotten Plaques
October 18, 2022
Years ago there was a little house on the island — honestly, I don’t know who it belonged to, or belongs to now, but those who live on Taboga will know which one I mean — decorated with small plaques telling a bit of Taboga’s history and of the first families who lived here. Sadly, the house is now somewhat rundown; it would be worth recreating those plaques somewhere else on the island, so that anyone interested could still read them.
I recently found the folder with photos of every plaque. The island’s heritage is something important that deserves to be safeguarded and preserved.
