Independence Month in Taboga

The town of Taboga celebrates November with many activities in honor of Panama’s independence holidays, and every year more participants and delegations join the parades and the events at the school and in the plazas. November 10 commemorates the Grito de Independencia of La Villa de Los Santos, and November 28 the independence from Spain in 1821; the month opens on November 3 with the separation from Colombia.
November also marks the start of the high season on the island of flowers, as Taboga is known, looking ahead to the 2020 summer.
