Carnival in Taboga 2019
February 12, 2019
Taboga summer 2019 is heating up, with activities every weekend for Panamanian families and for the high demand from foreign tourists; but the most anticipated event is #CarnavalTaboga2019, which this year aims to recover its old splendor, with both of the town’s streets pitching in and its people’s usual joy.
Starting Friday, March 1, hundreds of Panamanians will fill the island to celebrate the feast of Dios Momo; calls and bookings to my phone and social media come in daily. The island has hostels, hotels, rooms in houses, and full houses available for visitors.

Calle Arriba and Calle Debajo in Taboga are putting together an event to remember, with discotheques, water fights, food and drink stalls, and wholesome fun for the whole family.
Taboga, just 30 minutes from Panama City by boat, saves you the time and risk of driving out to different spots in the interior, offering a different option with both party atmosphere and a relaxed, beach vibe.
We’ll be waiting for you this carnival on the paradise island of flowers, and if you see “Los Piratas,” feel free to say hi — we’re at your service for any questions during the festivities.
Best, #TabogaPanama
